Database upgrade has successfully been completed.
PawLoop maintenance mode has been removed and the application is back to normal operations.
Started
Database upgrading has started.
PawLoop is now in maintenance mode and will be inaccessible until the upgrade has completed.
Scheduled
We have schedule an upgrade to our core database servers to increase our capacity and speed of PawLoop.
This is a great problem for us to have, as it's due to huge growth of new businesses joining PawLoop.
During the upgrade PawLoop might be unavailable for brief periods. We advise not do any critical work on PawLoop during the maintenance window of 10pm till 11pm.
All updates required for online payments have been deployed.
Scheduled
We are rolling out the first phase of our online payments feature. This is will require some services to be restarted as they connect to the newly enabled services.
We do not expect any impact to services but we want users to be aware of the change implementation. There is small chance of brief request failures if a request is sent whilst a database change is being applied. If you do see an error then please retry. If you see repeating failures then please let us know.
All page loading has returned to normal expectations.
Monitoring
A fix has been deployed to adjust duplicate checking. The dashboard page should be back to normal loading.
We will continue to monitor this.
Update
The cause has been identified that it was isolated to the dashboard page specifically by the duplicate booking checker task.
This task has now been adjusted to not overload the system.
Investigating
We are seeing slowness when loading PawLoop application at the moment. We are investigating the cause to restore normal service.
All patches have been applied and required services restarted.

Patching Started
Started
We are undergoing general security patch updates to make sure PawLoop stays up to date with all the latest patches against new possible threats.
During the patching there might be brief periods of downtime whilst services restart.
Email upgrades are now complete.
Any emails sent by PawLoop will be sent from noreply@mail.pawloop.co.uk from now on.
Monitoring
Upgrade work has been completed.
We are remaining to monitor email sending for any delays and confirming routing via the appropriate provider based on email type.
Started
Email sending upgrades have started. Users might see delays in emails being sent out from PawLoop until the upgrade has fully completed.
Scheduled
We will be upgrading our email sending provider on Monday 14th September at 10pm. During this time you might see delays in emails sending.
Currently emails from PawLoop come from noreply@notify.pawloop.co.uk. After this update emails will be sent from noreply@mail.pawloop.co.uk.
Why is this changing?
Due to the rapid growth we need to switch our provider to handle the high volumes of emails needed each day to be sent through PawLoop.
Do I need to do anything?
No, everything will resume working after the upgrade and work exactly as before for you. It's a behind the scenes change for us.
If any emails fail during the maintenance they will automatically be retried after the upgrade has completed.
